l'orlando curioso
offers a wide range of italian courses. To meet everyone’s needs and to give each student the chance to learn in the most effective and pleasant way.
method
Our approach to teaching is a communicative approach designed to quickly familiarize the student with everyday Italian. Listening, reading, speaking and writing are practised in an effecitive way.
A variety of activities and teaching techniques are used in the classroom, such as role playing, games, brainstorming, practical tasks, field trips and group projects. In addition, audio cassettes, periodicals, computers, music and videos are also regularly used during the lessons.

Grammar, written Italian and colloquial Italian are all combined to give the student an authentic idea of the language. Students learn in different settings: in plenum, in pairs and individually. Class sizes are small, ensuring that each member of staff can devote the attention required to every student.
The teachers are very experienced and skilled in providing an engaging, encouraging classroom atmosphere. All of them regularly attend teacher training classes with Italian and foreign trainers. In 2003 some of the teachers published the book Letture in gioco focused on reading skills.
l'orlando curioso
firmly believes that learning should not be limited to the classroom. To this end, a wide range of cultural and social activities are organised by the School, and offer great opportunities to practice language skills and make friends.
